Delivery Associate requirements

Delivery Associates (DAs) are anyone who helps with deliveries, including yourself. You and your co-workers must meet the following requirements, as outlined in Section D of your program agreement, to be a DA:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Pass a background check in accordance with Amazon's standards.
Sign and agree to consent forms that allow your business to share with Amazon compensation information and any other information that Amazon may request in connection with exercising its audit rights.
Sign and agree to a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement to protect customer and Amazon Confidential information.
Complete applicable training programs specified by Amazon.
Not currently be an Amazon employee and Will cease providing services if you become an Amazon employee.
Any worker assigned by your business to perform delivery services is an employee, independent contractor, or an individual to whom you have already extended a conditional offer to employment.

How to Onboard a Delivery Associate

Step 1: Add user

In the Hub app, under your Onboarding tasks to do list, click Invite Another Delivery Associate. You can track your DA’s onboarding and training progress directly in the Hub app.

‍Please note: Your DA's full name needs to reflect exactly as it shows on their ID to avoid delays in background checks.

Step 2: Send invitation

Input the DA's info and click Send invitation.

Step 3: Delivery Associate downloads the Flex app

Once invited, your DA will receive an email from Amazon Logistics with instructions on how to download and log into the Amazon Delivery app.

Step 4: Onboard yourself as a DA

After you accept the program terms, you will receive an email invitation from Amazon Logistics — click the link in the email to accept the invitation and follow the steps to download the Amazon Delivery app. If you did not receive the email invitation, go to the Hub App, click Invite Another DA, input your details, and invite yourself.

Download app via the email link only, not the App Store.
Once you download the Amazon Delivery app, upload your driver's license and a photo of yourself.
- Manhattan Hub Partners only: If you don’t have a driver’s license, select Non Driver, upload your state ID or passport instead, and a photo of yourself.
